This is my first photoshoot. What should I know?
You don’t need experience. Most clients have never done this before. You’ll be guided the entire time with posing, expression, and pacing. Your only job is to show up and let us direct the rest.
I’m nervous. Is that normal?
Completely. Nervous is the cover charge to doing something brave. We've all felt imposter syndrome. We keep the experience calm, private, and unhurried, so you can settle in fast and actually enjoy it. This is for you, by you. A love language to yourself. You can share as much or as little as you want. The photos can be as tame or as daring as you'd like. You're in charge, were just here to bring out what's been inside of you all along.
What should I bring?
Bring 2–5 outfit options, any accessories you love (heels, jewelry, jacket, a sexy or cozy robe), and anything meaningful you want included. If you’re unsure, we’ll send a prep guide and help you choose what photographs best. We can also book a virtual prep-session to brainstorm and walk-through your vision and what would work best with the set and your outfits and props.
Do you provide outfits?
We have select styling pieces and props available, but most clients bring their own outfits for the best fit and comfort. We can also help you build a look with what you already own. We also have fun ideas and trends we can walk you through. Feel free to book a prep-session to walk through your ideas.
What if I don’t want to show everything?
That’s totally fine. Boudoir isn’t a nudity requirement, it’s a mood. We tailor your session to your comfort level, boundaries, and goals. You stay in control the entire time.
Can I bring a friend or partner?
By request only. Many clients prefer the privacy of coming solo, but if having a support person helps you feel comfortable, we can approve it as long as it doesn’t disrupt the session flow. Hair, makeup, and wardrobe artists are typically welcome but need to be coordinated in advance so that there is space made available for their work and to adjust timing of sessions.
What if I need to reschedule?
Rescheduling is allowed with advance notice and subject to availability. Retainers are non-refundable, but we’ll do our best to help you move your date when life happens.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive your images in a secure password-protected personalized digital gallery. Turnaround time varies by season, but is typically within three weeks. You will receive 2-3 teaser images within 72 hours. Rush delivery may be available in limited quantity as an add-on cost, typically within 72 hours for a select amount of images. For packages including a personalized mobile app, your photos will be delivered within a normal time-frame via your secure digital gallery, and your mobile app will be delivered within 48 hours after that.
